BUG IN THE CUP
BY HELOUIS THUAL

March 2018

In an unknown world where even our spirituality has been commercialised and communication is obsessively controlled, how can you ensure your real self is safe?

An extraordinary and bizarrely entertaining new piece of theatre in development, ‘The Bug in the Cup’ explores the fragility of identity and the strength of mental boundaries; questioning whether it is possible to escape from your past or whether you’re stuck with it forever.

'The Bug in the Cup' was part of Bunbanter's A Play, A Poet & A Pastry series of evenings premiering a new play, poetry responding to that play and pastry to munch alongside. Inspired by Ã’ran Mór's A Play, A Pie and A Pint.
