Ali is primarily a theatre director, and before that she worked as an actress; but over the past fifteen years, she has also worked within the education sector; working with numerous companies, schools, colleges and organisations to teach, facilitate and design workshops and classes for all ages, all over London, South East England and South West Scotland.

In addition to her freelance teaching, in September 2009, Ali's theatre company, Bunbury Banter, successfully started a part-time stage school in London, which she ran for a decade. She also set up a ‘Young Theatre Company’ and worked with a number of schools across the UK, directing productions and supplying private drama lessons. In 2015 the company moved to Dumfries and Galloway where it continues to offer young people and adults access to the arts regardless of circumstance.

Bespoke Workshops Include:

Reading & Performance - Dumfries Writers (2015 & 2016)

Teaching: Press Coverage

"Ali is a wonderful teacher and my ten year old daughter hugely looked forward to her coaching sessions. Her directions are very clear and her teaching consists of an excellent combination of fun with discipline. Taking the LAMDA exam was a very positive experience for my daughter and she is very keen to take another one with Glennon's help."

Sharada - A Parent of LAMDA Drama student.

Teaching: Quote

"It is my experience that Ali is a pleasant, intelligent teacher who is both gentle and understanding with the students.  She offers useful, manageable tutelage and the LAMDA results she achieved speak for themselves; all passed with most receiving honors and some distinctions.  Her teaching style is both informal and measured and she adapts her style depending on the student ie. there is no "one size fits all" policy; she teaches 17 year-olds in a very different manner to 6 year-olds.

"I had the good fortune to learn from Glennon and she is an intuitive, excellent coach in drama particularly for the mature student and beginners"

Teaching: Quote

"Glennon is a conscientious and hard working individual.  Her ability to communicate, teach and encourage the students in all forms of media is of a very high standard.  Glennon is able to combine a good level of discipline with plenty of motivational output, which subsequently 'feeds'  the pupils imaginations."
